I used to be a fan of Jim Carey but now often find his over the top acting annoying.
All the same, we both had quite a few laughs in this one which is about a stereotypical hot-shot lawyer who puts his ambitions of reaching partner level first and foremost. Finally having enough of being forgotten by his Dad, his 5 year old son makes a wish that his Dad can't lie and that's when the fun part begins.
A story with morals, we start to learn that, apart from the initial pain, telling the truth is in fact better for the soul - but has he left things too late to rectify 5 years of neglect to his family?
A very typical plot but the laugh to time ratio is quite good
